Take 2 short minutes and watch my reel.

In HOW MUCH FOR MY DAUGHTER, an escaped American slave from the 1850's travels north to freedom and prosperity. Having earned enough money, he appeals by letter to his former slave owner if he can buy his daughter's freedom. Racist and evil to the core, fueled by rage and jealousy, the slave owner instead sets out to track down his former slave in a bloody confrontation. In the events leading up to the civil war, a young girl's life hangs in the balance. Based heavily on actual events.

Written and directed by Shawn Chittle. Pre-production.
